The Renaissance

Among the Italian paintigs that ca been foud are the Virgin with Child between Saint Jérôme and Saint Augustin by Perugino and his workshop. The Venitian school is present with masterpieces.
Through two centuries of depositions, acquisitions and donations, the collection has been enriched with paintings by Palma Vecchio or the works of Vasari and Lavinia Fontana. These works illustrate the evolution from the classical Renaissance towards an international mannerism and a more “colorful” Venetian expression.
