The museum provides visit booklets in French that is easy to read and understand (FALC).

These booklets can be borrowed free of charge from reception on arrival (on request) or downloaded:
Self-guided tactile tour A sense of detail
Discover the details of ten masterpieces in the exhibition rooms, to get a closer look and feel for a particular technique or material. This tool was designed as a playful tour of the collections by artist Ronan Charles and Isabelle Beccia, the museum’s institutional mediation officer.
A booklet in Braille is available to borrow on request at the museum reception (in exchange for an ID card).
Guided tours on request
Individual visitors, families, pre-formed groups... Guided tours in French Sign Language (LSF), audiodescription or multi-sensory tours are regularly available.
The visitor services department is available to help you plan specific guided tours.
Digital accessibility
When the museum’s website was created in 2025, the professionals in charge of its development were required to comply with the General Accessibility Framework for Administrations (developers and graphic designers). Each point of the framework was evaluated. The website therefore aims to provide the greatest possible accessibility for all users to all content.

Hearing loops
For visitors with hearing aids, the museum reception area is equipped with hearing loops.
French Sign Language (LSF) video guide to the permanent collections
The museum offers a video guide, available in French Sign Language with French subtitles, to help you discover the permanent collections. The videoguide presents ten masterpieces created by the greatest artists, including Titian, Rubens and Rosa Bonheur.
All the videos are available on tablet, for a 30-minute tour. The tablet is available on request from the museum reception desk (ID required).
Visits in French sign language
Every year, the museum offers several tours of its permanent collections and temporary exhibitions in French sign language (LSF).

Alarm
Visual alarms have been installed in the exhibition rooms and toilets to complement the audible fire alarm.
Visiting with a dog
Guide dogs and assistance dogs are permitted throughout the museum’s collections and exhibitions.
Multi-sensory tours and workshops for the visually impaired and blind
For groups, multi-sensory tours and workshops can be organised on request. Whether for groups of children or adults, the museum offers visually impaired and blind visitors the chance to discover the artworks through sound and touch.
